Edition XS: A Major Upgrade on the Popular Edition X

Our Take: The Hifiman Edition XS was released in late 2021 and bridges the gap perfectly between the Hifiman Sundara and the Hifiman Ananda. Ditching the circular cups of the Sundara for Hifiman's traditional teardrop shaped cups, the Edition XS presents a large soundstage with excellent detail. For our money, the Edition XS is incredibly hard to beat in the under $500 range.
